Pipes and Bongs are Art
Now more than just smokers are interested in glass pipes and bongs. Artists and enthusiasts alike have come to see the beauty in these functional pieces. Bob Snodgrass started this movement with his pipes, selling all he could make as he traveled around. Finally he settled in Eugene, Oregon and taught others his craft. Artists strive for each piece made to have a perfect balance of function, beauty, and creativity. These creations range from the affordable for most to affordable for the wealthy. Glass pipes and bongs had humble beginnings in the glass tubes or metal contraptions of the ancients, but it’s an art form that has endured and finding it’s place once again is flourishing.
